Post by: legless on September 23, 2019, 20:03:12 PM
i know its probably been asked before but i couldnt find it, due the Thomas Cook collapse i have now had to rebook with another company however prices to Dalaman had gone up to over £1000, so plugged for Antalya what is the best route and how long, are there garages outside the airport too /

Follow the D400 & D650 through the city and pick-up the E87. Then the D330 from Sogut and onto the D400 again at Zorlar. It's about 130 miles. Give yourself 3 and a half to 4 hours to allow for traffic and breaks.

There are several petrol stations close to the airport and plenty more along the route.

Car rental firms rather than garages maybe?

I travel to Denizli quiet regularly by coach and its the same way  for  50% of the journey, the distance from the Denizli turn off is around the same to Atalanta.
The Journey takes around  4 hours and costs me 40Tl. There is one stop over for 15 mins. I then take a taxi to my destination point.

There is a bus from Antalya Otogar to Fethieye runs every hour, not sure of the price but not very expensive. You can also get a bus from outside the domestic terminal to the Otogar, it's usually a bendy bus and cost only a few lira each, so journey can be done very cheaply
