Title: No Spirits on Turkey Airlines

In a effort to cut costs, ( or maybe by decree from a pious government  ;) )Turkish Airlines will no longer be serving Raki, Gin or Vodka to economy class flyers.

Sad news, I remember flying LHR to IST back in 2002 and asking for a whisky - there were no miniatures on TA flights, just normal bottles, the air hostess took one of those plastic glasses and filled it to the top with Johnnie Walker :D

I remember a similar thing with Raki. I had to neck half a glassful to give her room to drop some ice in.  :)
