Just seen this https://www.fethiyetimes.com/news/44-news/34335-mete-ay-welcomes-the-normalization-plan-for-the-tourism-sector.html?fbclid=IwAR0VwDtd0VWOgfSF58bzSCnQ3wJZoGz6any8DEyQgPGVhi8oolgAyuY9dGg
Good to see Mete looking well but the way the UK government is shaping Brit holidaymakers may not be welcome for a while yet.

They're not reopening the airport until 12th June so any celebrations are a bit premature.

It’s one thing opening an airport, it’s a completely different situation for other countries to allowing people to travel.

Feeling for the bar, restaurant, shop owners/waiters/employee's and indeed everyone who relies on the 'Season' for their livelihood, i don't care if they let the Martians in first. Our beloved Calis must get back on its feet soon, as indeed must every country, business, person.

Yeah, 'cos the UK government aren't messing with the figures are they ?

I won’t disagree with you on that but with the Russians track record no one should believe a word that they say. Antalya alone had over 5 million Russian tourists last year so for me letting the Russians in first is about the tourist lira rather than the health of the area
