I would be interested to know what it is like at Easter time in Calis and beyond, and what is open and what closes down. Also what is is it like travelling from the U.K. at this time of year - where do people fly from/to?

we went easter this year but it was in march ,very early the weather was lovely,i got sunburnt and there were some bars and restaurants open.but easter is later next year so there will be more places open.we flew from manchester to dalaman on march 19th it was the first flight to dalaman this year (i have just checked my passport)and all the t.v. and reporters where the to greet us, but i think you can get flights anywhere into turkey, and dalaman is open all year so that should help:D

sunny but not as hot as summer

We were also there at Easter and found the nights a bit chilly but the days were nice. Easter was early and Calis was just opening up for the season a few more bars each day and a lot of work going on to get things ready. We flew from Manchester on the first advertised flight into Dalaman which I believe was the 21st.
This did catch the locals out as they were not expecting a flight that early.
