Thanks all for your replies, they have been helpful. We still have a few weeks before we come to turkey so still have time to do some more research. On Marmaris, when we visited it was a bit too busy for us we liked Icmelar better. But we are not looking for anywhere too busy we like the quieter lifestyle (Does that mean we are getting Old) with two teenagers Fethiye sounds like it might have some nightlife for them. Anybody going out to turkey on the 3rd week of October?        :)Thanks again and to badger we do support the hearts ( good result again yesterday )keep it going.......

we have a place in catalarik 15 mins from calis and fethiye right in the middle so we have peace and quiet and go to the bars etc when we want. plenty of dolmus to get home or on a very late night (which is often) we get a taxi 15 ytl not bad
