Title: Lighting from UK is it compatible with Turkey!

Evening all - long time no posting on good ole CBF...
I'm just about to buy a new bathroom ceiling light to take to Turkey & getting to payment stage suddenly thought will the wiring or whatever it is be compatible with Turkey can some kind person tell me please.
I don't want to spend £60 on a light that if I can't use it it will be to late for a refund time I come back to uk!
Or any tips please for anything I should look for before I purchase?

It'll need to be a screw-fit for the bulb or you'll have to mess about getting bayonet fit bulbs back in the UK. Voltages are the same though so it won't be a problem unless of course it's got a plug. In which case it's just a case of removing the UK 3-pin plug and fitting a two-pin, or using an adaptor.

We have fitted Uk lighting and never had a problem (yet) lol

Thank you KKOB for all the info - Iv ordered the light - im pretty sure the bulbs were the litttle g9 capsule bulbs so nice & easy to pack.
