Hi

Ive just joined the forum and wanted to do a little intro. My name is Yvonne and Ive never been to Calis or even Turkey but I am in the process of trying to find a nice villa to stay in for 2 weeks next June. Im hoping everyone here will be able to tell me if Ive chosen the right area to stay in! Im from England by the way  :)

Yvonne,

We are all Calis lovers so I suspect you will be inundated with options. You will have a lovely time whether you are single on as girls holiday, loved up and want a romantic time or just want a great family holiday.

Tell us more about what you want how many for and I am sure will find something pretty quickly.

Even better you will get lots of emails from members.

Hi Lorraine,

Thanks for the welcome.

Everyone here seems really nice :D

Im going away with my partner Paul but he doesnt know it yet. He always leaves booking until the last moment but Im much more organized lol! I think I have found a nice little secluded place but Im just waiting to hear a bit more about it. Its called Villa Anna as I recall ... I want to be able to relax and get away from it during the day, but be able to get to some good nightlife in the evening. Not so much clubs as nice restaurants and bars. Ive only booked a villa once before and that was via a travel agent so Im a bit nervous of making all the arrangements with accomodation and flights etc.

Don't worry about booking everything seperately, the forum members will help. It's quite easy book your accomodation find a flight and book your transfer (we can recommend orange cars).

Calis has fantasic resturants - you won't go hungry, romatic sunsets.
Lot's to do, 12 island boat trip, jeep safari & lunch @Saklient Gorge.........I wanna be there now!

Hi Yvonne

Welcome to the forum.  You've chosen a lovely area as you will see for yourself if you go next June.  I hope you do as I'm sure you'll want to go back.  Don't worry about arranging it yourself - you'll find lots of info to help on here and there's a search facility at the top.  Good luck.

Im sure Ive picked a nice area but its so nice to be reassured!

Are members allowed to advertise their accomodation on here? If so, I wish I had known earlier. Ive waded my way through so many sites  :)

Booked with excel, £257 each inc taxes & meals. not sure if this is a good deal but seemed cheaper than some as flights are at reasonable times. Not till next July though! Good luck, Linda

I wouldn't worry, if it doesn't work out, a plea for a villa on here will leave you inundated

Hi if you're planning on coming out during school holidays try and book flights about 6 months ahead for best prices and timings. Otherwise leave it til much nearer the date for bargains. I'm sure you'll love the area. We are situated nearer to Olu Deniz in a 'village' called Ovacik, it's a bit higher and cooler in the summer and only a spit away from Hisaronu where there are loads of clubs, nice restaurants, bars and 'designer' shops. Well worth a visit one evening. Also if you like fish, try one of the little restaurants around the fish market in Fethiye where the owner will go with you to buy your fish and then for about £2 a head will prepare it for you to your taste (bread and salad are included in the price).Yum!:P
