Thought it was about time I registered myself as I check out the website quite often (my other half's a member)and the tips we've picked up have been really useful. We bought a house in Calis earlier this year and have been out a few times already furnishing it, etc. We are out again soon (mid October) for a fortnight, and this time we are going to chill and ....well, chill!

We were so busy buying gear for the house on the last two trips we didn't really get chance to explore further afield to any great extent, so this time we are coming out with friends and hope to make up for lost time. Hope it's not too quiet during Ramadan - though from messages posted previously it seems there will still be lots going on, particularly as its school holidays too.

I was really sorry to see the pictures of the recent flood damage in Calis - has similar happened before or was this just a freak occurence?

Hope the weather bucks up before we get there - hadn't counted on bringing my wellies!
