Hi dycedon

Welcome to the forum.  The buying process is very different to the UK and it is therefore important to purchase through a reputable agent/developer.  Provided you do this you will have no problems.  You will find lots of useful info on here and there's a search facility at the top which will help.  We bought last year and have not looked back.

greetings dycedon, and welcome ,the buying process can be a bit daunting in turkey if you do not now much about it but on this forum you will find everything you need to know,it helped us when we bought in july last year and we then got our tapu this year in march, get a good estate agent is the best move you could make ,there are some good ones and the odd one or two to avoid,if you are interested e-mail me i will tell you one to avoid, who we had trouble with.we then went on to find a great estate agent and had no bother there is lots of recommendations on here from the other members on the estate agents they have used

Hi Dycedon.  Welcome to the forum.  Loads of information on the site.  Read it BEFORE you go out.  I didn't find it until after we'd bought.  Good luck!

Hi,
Welcome and good luck with the search for your place in the sun next month.  A wise time to house hunt we also looked for a property in November, back in 2003, with success I might add.LOL

welcome and good luck with house hunting
decide if you want mountains or sea
or do a bit of both
new and secondhand houses are still cheaper than uk
if 2hand ask for furnishing s to be included, it helps then chande as you see new stuff.
