Hello,

Just would like to introduce myself; my name is Jane and with my husband, Andy we visited Calis and Turkey for the first time this summer.  Andy flew back over last week to buy an appartment on the Lagoon vista site which is due to be completed in December.  We absolutely loved Turkey and the people we met and are excited about  future holidays now that we have found a holiday home.  Now we have found this site we are also looking forward to making new friends with fellow Calis travellers. As we've only visited once I am sure we'll learn a lot from this site.

hi and welcome jane and andy, you will find lots of info on here that will be very useful to you in the future, and congratulations on your apartment, drop into the forum bar when you are next over most of the members pop in there when they are in turkey,

You will learn a lot from the forum and if you need to know anything then either ask, or just put it  in the search facillity,  cos im sure one of us have asked the same question at one time. Congratulatins on your purchase.

Welcome to the Forum.......You will find most of your questions can be answered here by using the search facility or if not just ask and there is a good chance that one of the members will be able to help you. Enjoy your time here and one day you  may make this your home as we have done without a single regret. :)

just off the roundabout in Calis, with the canal bridge behind you turn right and it is a few doors up on the left.  I will check it is still there this weekend, just as a favour to a new member you understand.

Mrs Wolf has badgered me to register and to come and introduce myself.  I'm a shy wolf at heart.

Hi everyone - looking forward to becoming a Calis stalwart and eroding the resort's supply of Efes.  I noticed it was a lot quieter last weekend than it was in the summer.  It's definitely coming to the end of the season.

Back in England and missing that sunset already.  Looking forward to coming over in the Spring and becoming reacquainted with the place.  Thanks for the directions to the Forum bar. We will make a point of imbibing in there - purely for research purposes you understand.

Thanks everyone for the very warm welcome.  This message board is as friendly as we found Calis when we were over there in August.  We're very excited about knowing we have a permanent base there - and so are our three wolf cubs.

Out of interest - does anyone know what percentage of the regulars on here are permanent residents of Calis and what percentage are holiday merchants like us?

             Welcome to the CBF and congratulations on your apt.we signed up for one in june in gunlukbasi hopefully ready next May.How lucky we are to have this forum enabling us in the UK to keep in touch.(many thanks to the organisers)we live in essex as do a few other members what part of the country do you come from?

We're originally from the Black Country, had 19 years living down in Devon but we now live in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Kinda nomadic wolves

In response to how many are permenent residents in Turkey, but not just Calis.... includes Fethiye,Ovacik etc etc.  Log on Click members and then go to the right hand column where you will see members locations and then just count the Turkey listings. Bit of a drag but it will give you a fair idea unless someone has the info at their fingertips :)
