Hi, I would like to introduce another 2 members to this great site.   Our names are Carole and Steve - and we have just purchased a duplex apartment in Tasyaka, Fethiye.
We fell in love with Turkey and decided to buy a place there with the idea in mind that we can semi retire there in 15 years time - doing 6 months in Turkey and 6 in the UK.  I have also passed  the details of this site to our neighbours (and dear friends we have made)in Turkey.  We are quite excited at the chance of contacting other people who are sharing our interests there in Turkey - and being able to share our experiences.
Please feel free to contact us as we will hopefully be contacting a few of you!!! , Carole & Steve.....

Thanks Guys for all your 'welcomes'.  Steve and I are looking forward to keeping in contact with everyone - oh and by the way Tel, it is 15 years hahahahahaha....
I have just spoken to dear friend that we have made - as a result of buying our place - and they are flying out to Fethiye (via Dalaman) on Monday for a week.  She has said that once they return - they too will register...  good eh!?

Well youve come to the right place to contact other people who have interests in Turkey.  As you can guess this forum is full of us :D
We are serious about moving out there permenant. Dont ever think i could leave after being here for 6 months. It gets harder everytime we go for a holiday lol Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the best forum on the net.

Hi all,

I tell you I am so impressed with everyone on this forum!   You all seem really inform,ative - and I hope that we can put as much in as we're getting out!
It seems such a sin to us both that we cannot get out to our second home - but for 2-3 times a year!   Our daughter Sam works for Thomas Cook - and she is finding it really difficult to get to see and use our new purchase!   She has only seen it once and that was in February - and we had just a 'she;;' then!

Oh well - in time she will get to use it!

Hi Kirby, welcome to the forum, my place is right in the centre of town, surrounded by forum, meri, Josephs & scarlett bars + aura karaoki bar, but i dont go in there coz i can't sing. My daughers going over in 3 weeks, trying my hardest to get time off work without lieing about a bad back, but one way or another i think i'll be in my FIRST home in 3 weeks, only come back to England for some money to spend when i go home.
