I would just like to introduce myself and say hello to everyone.  Ny name is Kaz and I am thinking of moving to the Fethiye region with My son of 9 years old.  As we will be alone I will need all the kind advice I can get.  Thanks Kaz. :)

hi kaz and welcome plenty of info on here just go to the search at the top of the right hand side and type in what you want to know ,or just post on here and ask away someone will always be able to answer,good luck in whatever you decide

Thanks for your replies, my main concern is whether my investments will be enough to live on. A bit scary!

Welcome to the forum.  I can understand why you would want to move to this area - we love it and hopefully will make the move ourselves there soon.

I have been to Hisaronu twice this year, was thinking of buying there but was put off by the fact that it is very quiet and colder up there in the winter.  I will be looking in the new year.

Hi Kaz and welcome to the Forum. Hisaronu is dead in the winter so might not suit your young son, but go where you feel comfortable
and maybe check out of season not just in our wonderful summers.   :)Regarding your investments Turkish Banks are paying about 17.5% gross interest at the moment although there is no guarantee this will continue.

Hi Kaz, welcome to the forum and good luck in finding somwhere in the Fethiye area. As other members have said, you will find a lot of useful information in this forum.
