Title: Indoor Pool
Post by: rowanis on November 04, 2005, 11:13:49 AM
Anyone know of an indoor swimming pool in Calis or Fethiye either in a complex or hotel that is open during the winter?

Would be willing to pay a small fee for use.

Many thanks

Ro.

I too would like to know of an indoor pool for the winter time as my daughter is a competative swimmer and needs to keep to a strict training schedule.

The only indoor pools I know of are in Olu Deniz/Hisaronu and I doubt any of them will be open in Winter :(

We have been looking for the past two years with no success, did get one lead that one of the hotels in Fethiye had one but turned out to be a rooftop pool. If anyone finds one would love to know about it.

Well from that list the closest to Calis would be the Ata Park, right on the seafront in Fethiye.

The Sea Breeze Hotel in Ovacik / Hisaronu has an indoor heated pool which is open all winter and its very big. Pleanty big enough for serious swimmers who need to keep up with their training. Its set back from the main road just before the roundabout at the Hisaronu Junction. They also have a prety decent gym as well.

Sea Breeze as already mentioned, winter price for use of Gym, machines and some free weights,Sauna and pool[about 15 - 20 metres long and very warm] 10 Lira, seems as though you stay as long as you like, pay extra and get Turkish bath and massage

interesting to know. We were out there late last October, and there were a couple of days when it was too rainy to do much - this would have been good for the kids.
