Hello my name is Rob and my partner is Anne.
I have been a member for a while now but have not posted any questions as the search facility is so good.
I'm originally from Liverpool but now live in N.Wales so I will be able to contribute even more scouse charm and wit to this forum.
Probably like a lot of people I woke up one morning and said "there has to be more to life than this,lets move to Turkey" or perhaps its a mid life crisis (I will be 50 in April).

Anyway we have decided to purchase in Calis and will be house hunting at the end of June (combined with a family holiday and watching the world cup).
When we do purchase it will be for a home and a place to be happy rather than an investment.

Hi Rob & welcome to the forum,I bought an appartment in the centre of Calis, no intention of selling for a profit or renting it out, when I visit it i'm going home, even if it's only for a fortnight. Alan

hi rob and welcome,we have done exactly what you will be doing in june,go for it.
we went out for a holiday and bought a place in catalarik which is not far from calis,or anywhere for that matter, but quiet at night when you want a peaceful nights sleep.
so have a great time in june and research all the info on here because it helped us alot.
we are not from n/wales but not far away on the wirral,but also a fellow scouser

Hi Rob, Yes I,m a Mickey Mouser, South End boy,now living in the Midlands.Where selling up and moving out to Fethiye this year,after holidaying there for ten years,we are going into rented accomadatioin whilst we find the right place,we did,nt fancy buying property whilst on holiday,so good luck with your search, we might bump into each other,when we get there.
