Hi Everyone
We would like to introduce ourselves. We have only just found this website and its great that there is a support group in Calis and the surrounding area. We have an apartment in Green Valley, we weren't aware of the graveyard and the prison until we looked at the chat on the website! It would be great to hear from anyone else that has an apartment in Green Valley and anyone else in the area. We haven't seen the complex completed yet and wondered if anyone could give us information on how it was running, tapus etc. We are going out in June to buy furniture etc. We have picked up lots of info off the site already about buying furniture...thanks. However, if anyone has any furniture they are selling second hand we would be interested.

hi! Im anew member as well.just I wanna give u an advise ,do not buy MDF furnitures.because fethiye has a big humidity.

welcome gill/col good luck with your furnishing,there is 2nd hand furniture etc advertised in the land of lights and the fethiye times ,they are free outside various places in fethiye etc

Hello Gill And Colin,   Glad you found us!   Welcome to the forum...  We too have bought in GV and yes we are right by the graveyard and the prison - so we will have to behave ourselves eh?????    Have too many alcoholic beverages and we could end up in one or the other hahahahaha.   We are not too close - so don't panic!

                 Welcome and congratulations on your purchase.We too are new to this and our place should be completed by May We are going out in April to get furnishings. We have found this site invaluable for advice and the search facility excellent but are still learning new things everytime We are on here ,and no doubt this will continue.

Many thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and advice. Looking forward to our visit in June if we can get our flights sorted!! ( The times have just been altered and are now unsuitable ) Can anyone recommend a flight company?
