Thanks for the messages. Yes I did like Calis although we were only there for a day while we stayed at Olu Deniz it was a few years ago during a hopelessly hot August. We chose Datca as it was the place in Turkey that I first visited many years ago and I just fell in love. It is also very windy and my family are sailors. I believe there is wind surfing at Calis but the time we visited it was completely windless and so put my husband off I'm afraid. Now we have a base no doubt we'll be wandering around and I hope to visit the area again. I shall be out for 6 weeks in July/ August so may well do it then.I'm also out for 11 days in April but from recent pics of my house I think I'll be gardening. Weeds certainly grow well in Turkey!

Hi JMK
Welcome to the forum. We have been to Datca many times on boat trips and the turkish baths there are one of the best we have ever been to.
