Hello to you all. My name is Margaret and I have bought a property in Calis Its an older house and I am having it renovated should be ready in about 6 weeks I am very pleased with it I am in Calis just now going home on the 14th April but hoping to get back quickly. Intend to come and go as often as I can. I have had a Turkish boyfriend for 5 years and have been coming and going for this length of time. Hope I can settle here one day.

Thank you for your welcome my new house is near to the Rebin hotel. I think its dennis sitesi its very nice but there seem to be a lot of dogs about and cats. There seems to be a lot of them in calis full stop. but I dont mind animals anyway. I am sort of new to calis (been a couple of times on holiday) as my boyfriend comes from bodrum I spent most of my time there but I would not like to settle there as its too busy for me but the properties are much cheaper. I liked fethiye but the houses wear too expensive calis was a bit cheaper and suited my budget better. I got my new house for a good price (my boyfriend helped get a good deal) so I am very happy now.

hello thank you. I am having the turkish toilet downstairs removed and kitchen made into open plan (this makes the room bigger) with new units etc. upstairs I am having 2 bedrooms knocked into one big room with fitted wardrobes. I am also having a patio area built on the back of the house and my front balcony covered. New toilet shower and sink in the room outside my back door. New windows for the terrace air con fitted solar power fitted and a hot water back up system. painting outside and inside house as well. They will start next week but I did see another house beside mine that the same builders did and it looks great you would not think it was the same house. I can hardly wait till mine is finished.

Hi and welcome.  I too met my boyfriend, now my husband in Bodrum (Gumbet actually) and spent 5 years returning 3-4 times a year until we eventually got married.  I have very fond memories of Bodrum.  Are you now hoping to relocate down to Calis? and is your boyfriend moving down also?  If so I hope everything works out for you.
