Having visited Calis for the first time in 2005 we bought a place, and made friends with local  people (both English and Turkish) here in no time at all.

It seems a very friendly place and it's good to know that this forum is here for those questions which always seem to arise when you are in unfamiliar territory.

I look forward to some dialogue.

welcome vr2 whereabouts is your place in calis,we also bought on our first visit in 2004 and never regreted it. just ask any question you need to know and  someone on here will know the answer

hi v2 and welcome to the forum, i bought my place 4yrs ago in sept. but i wish i'd bought on my first visit, it most likely would have been paid for now. Alan

Hi VR and welcome. We bought on about our 30th visit 2 years ago and are glad we did too. We probably should have bought sooner but we dont like to rush things- besides in '89 there werent any/many places to buy. Congrats on your purchase.

Hi VR2,welcome to the forum.Pleased to hear about your place in calis,havent actually looked around calis yet,we have a apartment in Hisaronu but plan to have a look at calis in August.
