Post by: eileen on May 03, 2006, 10:36:01 AM: We are new to the forum,our names are Colin and Eileen,we have bought an apartment in Calis and will be coming out to it for the first time in June for 5 glorious weeks.No doubt we will have loads of questions and hope you will help with loads of useful advice.This is going to be such an exciting time for us, we cant wait.

Hi,our duplex is called Area Apartments,10 mins walk to the beach,and you can see the sunday market from the balcony.
We bought the furniture when we were overthere in February on the buying trip and the Agent has arranged delivery for us,so we will have a bed to sleep in on the first night.
We will need white goods and the bits and bobs that make it home and this forum has been so usefull,we have got loads of info.
We wont have internet at the apartment so we will have to use internet cafe,if we need more advice.I understand that we cant have a phoneline and so no internet,is that correct

There is a way round it which has been discussed on this Forum.Try the search Facility. But unless you plan to spend a considerable time here it is hardly worth the hassle. Loads of net cafes about.....or go wifi see also hot spots in the search :)
