My name is Liz and other half (Robert) and I bought an apartment on Grena in Ovacik. Coming out on 29th May for first of a few visits this year. Live in Ayrshire in Scotland but find flights from Glasgow quite expensive - does anyone know of any cheaper flights from Glasgow??

welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase.We to have a place in Ovacik and are going over 22nd may for 2 weeks.We also have same problem with flights from Newcastle and only by checking plenty of sites do We get a reasonable price.It might be worth looking at package deal as We got our next one 200 pounds cheaper this way(apparently there is an excess of Turkey accommodation on tour operators books and and every so often they through a few cheap deals to generate interest.

A warm welcome to the forum we are over the hill from you in Tashiyka. We also live in Ayrshire (Saltcoats) and sometimes we get cheap flights and sometimes not as Anne says it is just your luck. I am going out on the 15th May for a week and got a flight for £118 from Thomson and again with Onur on the 13th June for @£160 for two weeks.H4U are great in the winter although from Manchester we managed to get two weeks (Xmas and New Year for £158). Lots of luck with your furnishing and maybe see you some time. Mary

We too are in Ovacik - up on Oaklands complex. Sorry to hear about you having trouble getting flights out of Glasgow. Enjoy your holiday. We are out on 22nd May - counting the days, and again July 28th for 18 nights, and hopefully again October half term.
