Turk Telekom Conspiracy Theory?
« on: August 23, 2007, 14:17:24 PM »

I have seen a few members posting that their internet is crap in this area. I am wondering whether this free upgrade was a gimmick to appease subscribers as telekom must know the service has degraded to the point where TTNET is basically unusable.

Is it just a few of us that are suffering or are the majority of subscribers happy? :(

Or it could be that the the market will be open to competition next year, that`s why they are offering new subscribers half-price deals till 2008 if they sign up for 2 years.

Didn't realise that at all. Although we have a higher d/l rate (albeit irregular) the upload is pathetic. I've spent the whole day trying to send relatively small menu images to the printer in Eskisehir and at this rate it would be quicker to use the otobus 8 hours each way and hand deliver them :D

I know but I am pointing out that it is just the few and not the majority.

I understand. I gathered it was isolated because we have other restaurants and it's only us that's experiencing it. The trouble is we rely on the net for access to all the branches security cameras and point of sale. Fethiye is the hub. It's driving me nuts.

Someone on another forum living in the Fethiye area was also complaining about service since the upgrade. I never got upgraded at all and I have not had any problems but I think others in the area were having problems.
