We're planning next summer's holiday already.

Is it better (ie cheaper) to book flights now or later ?

Look at the prices if they are cheap book them, if not wait, but there are no guarantees now they will come down anymore.

The majority of airlines will be cheapest to book early as they release one set of seats at a low price and once they have sold out the next lot are released at a slightly higher price!
Now and again it does pay to wait, but so many customers come back wishing they had booked earlier because someone they met got a really cheap deal by booking 11 months in advance

Many booked next summers flights a few months back so the cheapest prices have gone already.
