Hi everyone, I have just signed up as a new member to your forum. My husband, daughter and myself have been to Uzumlu several times in the past couple of years and will be over again next month for a couple of weeks (14/07/08 to 28/0708). We just love the place. We rent a villa in the village normally, this year being no exception. We have rented Olive Tree villa a couple of times, which is really close to the village and we adored but alas this year we didnt book in time so we have booked Vine villa which seems to be a bit further out from the village centre, hope we like it when we get there. I love reading all the info in the forums its very informative. We are considering buying a property maybe in Uzumlu or Calis in the future and its nice to know there is an english speaking community about although my husband is turkish my skill of the language is very basic.

Hi Foosey and welcome to the forum, Steve and Julie, have you only got wind where you live, i think we've got a hurricane in Manchester, i'm fed up of putting the cover back on my scooter, i'll be glad to get home to Calis. Alan
