Cash Machines in Calis

My Daughter is going to Calis next week and has asked if there is a link cash machine in Calis she said she can only use her card in one.
Ive been before but never used a mini bank thankyou

I've used an Halifax card in the ATM over the other side of the bridge in Calis,opposite the boat taxis, i think that one is HSBC, and you can even draw sterling from that one. Alan

The HSBC machine can be a bit dodgy! We heard a couple of stories about it last year and so avoided it. We used it once this year and it was fine- but- we then heard of people using it and having some difficulties. My brother-in law used it on Sunday night and it aborted the transaction half way thru'. He then tried again and it gave him the cash. However the first transaction is showing on his on line statement as having been successful so he is £200 adrift. I'm sure it can be reconciled once they're back and fortunately they have enough cash - but its not a good situation!

for when the atm's are out of order in calis high st there is another one outside the hospital on the way to fethiye,i have also heard but never had the need to use that there is an atm inside the hospital

Cavfan, we have used that machine loads of times, both for sterling and lira, with no problems at all.  (The bit where you touch for English/Turkish and Sterling/Lira was a bit tempramental last August, but it eventually  paid out with no problem.)  Thanks for the warning though - I'll only use it as a last resort in future - just in case!!!
