travellers cheques
« on: July 13, 2008, 21:06:57 PM »
Hi my family and I are coming to Calis on the 28th July can anyone tell me, if I took travellers cheques where I could cash them. Only last time I took cash and exchanged it on Calis front, but don't really want to carry all my cash around again. Is the nearest place Fetye which is no problem but last time I looked they all seemed to be self sevice banks and no cashiers.
I await your advice and many thanks in anticipation.

Alan Stephen.

Alan, i used to take cash and leave it in the safety deposit box in the hotel, most of them being in your own room, just take out what you think you are going to need, and also debit card, but i've never seen a self service bank in Fethiye. Alan

Other than the umpteen banks in Fethiye, there's at least 3 bureau de change where there are rarely queues & they'll change travellers cheques no problem
