HELP - Computer geek advice needed!
« on: August 31, 2008, 23:44:27 PM »
Can anyone help please?

I've done a REALLY stupid thing! I added the free Adobe Photoshop. It took ALL my pictures into it.
Unfortunately I decided to delete a few that I didn't want. However it appears now that I also managed to delete all photos prior to the dates of the ones I deleted too. It's also deleted some of the more recent ones too - probably because I didn't reset the camera to the correct date as the Adobe works by date.
Unfortunately I also emptied my recycle bin - OMG!

Would doing a system restore bring these back? I don't know when the last restore point was done on the computer - how can I find date?
I've tried looking in Disc D but it comes up with the following
Recovery Partition

Warning!

This area of your hard disk

(or partition) contains files used

for your system recovery.

Do not delete or alter these files.

Any change to this partition could

prevent any recovery later.

WILL my photos be on here OR is it just the op. system?
I do have some photos on disc BUT by no means all - I was tidying the photos up before doing another disc. Now I might have lost some for good :o
I feel such a prat!

I'm just thankful that I made a photobook & had a load of photos printed in the last month BUT I did have loads more I wanted printing. I now have very few photos left on here.

Can anyone help OR is there no way I can get them back?
