Would it be reasonable to assume that Calis is like most places in the world i.e. that it has its fair share of reasonable decent people & some "undesirables" & probably a few inbetweenies?

My hope( because we intend to move there) is that because people have made a decision to move to a new life that they will be mostly go-ahead, vibrant people who want to enjoy life in a low stress environment with a wonderful culture & climate.

These are the type of people I will have a rapport with whilst shunning any who dwell on the negative & any who decry anyone due to their ethnic roots or social standing.

If there are people who have no life outside of the bars & gossiping then I would advise that I will not be wanting their company & they will know this!

I know that I appear to have gone off topic but it seems that this thread is in danger of becoming a "mud-slinging" issue & although I take an XL size I don't think I would be able to fit my feelings on a tee shirt!

I've said numerous times on here and in 'real life' that there are many superb people in and around Calis, and that 99% of the lies, gossip and stirring comes from 1% of them. On the whole Calis people aren't doing any of the above things.

I agree with Dave, this was intended as a humourous topic and shouldn't become an anti-Calis Brits thread. So, I'll lock it now.
