I have just watched a TV programme hosted by Noel Edmunds (Noels HQ)which featured a young British Soldier who had both legs blown off in one one of our overseas conflicts.
In short, our soldier wanted to build a small bugalow in the grounds of his Grandparents property, the bungalow was tucked away behind some trees on private land and had not recieved a single objection. The council blocked the planning permission, even though the only possible way would have seen the propety from the air.
The thing that made my blood boil was that the show approached the press officer from Wealdon District Council, a Mr Jim VanDenBos, rther than ackowledge the needs of OUR soldier, he simply said " We don't speak to entertainment shows like this"
It made me so mad that I felt the need to write to Mr VanDenBos and tell him what an insensetive Pr**K I thought he was.
I am not normally this motivated to send an unsoliceted email but I support our troops 100%, especially those that pay the price 100%
