Hi Linda and welcome, my wife and I are in the early stages of buying. Our apartmet won't be ready until next May. The initial problem we had was trying to take everything in. There are so many properties available at the moment you can get to the point where you are looking and not taking anything in. The best advice I can offer is decide what you want before you start looking, ie, already built or new build, apartment or villa, price range etc. Once you know what you want stick to it then look at everything that meets your requirements. My wife and I found ourselves going round in circles because we saw that many properties, we also found everybody and his dog in Calis knew someone with a property to sell. I think your best sticking to a reputable estate agent. There are plenty to choose from and plenty of people on this site to give advice. Good luck in your search
