Remembrance Day

I'll be observing the two minute silence tomorrow out of a deep respect for all our brave soldiers who have died (and been seriously injured) in Iraq and Afghanistan. I will also be thinking of their equally brave families and freinds.

Will you join me.

Did anyone else watch the programme yesterday afternoon about Rolf Harris' dad and his younger brother in the first World War?  It was very moving, and brought Rolf's "Two Little Boys" song to mind.  It was excellent - though we were both in tears by the end.

Heartbreaking to see how young many of the soldiers were who died.

Well done Keith on the front page poppy - very thoughtful.

It's such a waste that the brave young men and women who have died in recent conflicts will never again see such a beautiful crisp, cold, sunny day is it is here today. Hardly a cloud in the sky
