Met a lady who was looking for British property owners to have a student stay with them whilst they attend the language school behind the tax office in Calis, near the Alo Cafe.
The students ages range from thirteen upwards, (may be well over twenty five). There is payment for this service,but not a huge amount. The students are from a variety of countries, Russia, Azerbajan and Eastern Europe I believe at the moment. I am pretty sure she said that the minimum stay is for two weeks. They are often reasonably fluent in English from already and just want to gain a deeper understanding of the language.
