PeteM:
Thanks for the update! 3/4 Bfrt is fine by me, I just use my 15m2 kite  :) No problem there..

I'm planning to go to Calis Beach in March since my girlfriends parents have a house that is almost on the beach  :)

Is the wind steady on Calis Beach around March?
PeteM: I'll visit the Surf Bar when I'm there and I'll drink a beer for you (or will buy you one if you're there  ;)).

Number2:
I am not totally familiar with the whole stone/kilogram conversion so I'll just use kilograms. I use a 15m2 kite when there is a 3-4 bfrt wind and when the wind is harder (like 5-6 bfrt) i'll use a 12m2 kite. I weigh around 95kg (it's all muscle... yeah right..  ;)).

Yeah it'll fit in the plaine. There are very good bags that you can use for brining kitesurfing equipment.

Wouter.

Hope to be there 3rd and 4th week in March, I'll cycle down to surf bar and look for a crazy guy (German/Dutch?)(obviously Dutch as your profile says Netherlands -durrrrh) with his own kitesurfing stuff, I'll be interested to have a chat. The guys that run it live there but it may only just be opening up as a bar at end of March for the new season.  Wind is fairly steady normally on-shore or slight cross onshore, for 3 hours most days, there generally seems to be a breeze, if they had F5-6 regularly I'd bring my w'surf kit out!!

The most imporant thing is that I know that I can kitesurf on Calis Beach. And when the wind isn't there, i'll just swim, sunbath or do something else  :)

Wouter, when it warms up a bit you might also want a go at ParaGliding, Olu Deniz offers some of the best paragliding about, in the summer the thermals are incredible, any something to think about on those non-windy days!!!  Today is no wind, no sun, no heat in UK, apart from that it's perfect!
