wi-fi for complex

The owners in our complex would like to get wi-fi connection installed.   Is it true that one person in the complex needs a telephone landline and to get a landline, you need a turkish residency ?
If anyone knows different, we would be pleased to hear.  Many thanks
Jayne

yes one person on the complex will need a telephone landline...also the telephone landline and internet connection will need to be in a Turkish persons name if the person with the landline/internet does not have residency.

If any on-line gambling/downloading of p0rn goes on, whoever has signed the contract is held responsible, facing fines and even a prison sentence!

What would be an approximate cost of getting this set up.
ie Install phone line, buy powerfull enough wireless router, and monthly cost of line rental & Tinternet?
One problem is that you only need it for 6 months of the year but have to pay for a full year.

It sounds like it could be more hassle than its worth: some on the complex being able to access / others not/ some hogging bandwidth whilst others cant log on etc. If you do want a strong signal using as much of the bandwidth as is available - go for a N-router - these are relatively cheap now.

We were told installation is free but you pay 7TL for 150 mins usage.
