Tug of War Championship
« on: May 24, 2010, 08:36:53 AM »
Depending on how many teams confirm this morning that they are taking part in this years tug of war championship, there may be heats taking place on the beach in front of the Harem Restaurant this afternoon at 3.00pm.

The finals of the competition (or the competition itself depending on this mornings outcome :D) will take place tomorrow Tuesday at 3.00 pm (same place).

The "big pull" will be refereed by local celebrity Mike Mitchell, international actor and twice Mr. universe and 5 x WFF Masters title holder

Last year's winning team from the Nomad  Restaurant (Yoruk Caderi) will be defending their title. The winning team will be presented with  the "Jim Jim" by cup sponsor James McGroarty.

Had a great laugh and well done to the winners and the team that came second for not throwing their teddies out of the prams like the other 3 teams.

Had great time watching tug of war, and well done to the organizers and all helpers, but what a surprise to see big macho men acting like spoiled kids, after all it is supposed to be for fun isnt it?
