Why NOT to have a bbq in Scotland in July

Our nephew and his girl friend held a barbeque yesterday in Aberdeen.

The weather, all day, was light drizzle/heavy rain and 14 degrees.

But we are a resilient lot and we erected a temporary awning which turned out to be fit-for-purpose and everyone had a fab day

Hot day today in Aberdeenshire, been in the garden all afternoon lovely and sunny.  It's an Aberdeen holiday today, so everyone can take advantage of the rays.

Looking at your picture H, reminded me of a party we gave for my parner Elaine's father, he was 90, in attendance was his Grate Grandson Oliver, who is 2 1/2, Oliver did not look to happy so I said to him, are you enjoying the party ? NO came the reply, it's the worst party I Have ever been to, Whys that then Oliver? He hasn't got a bouncy castle :D:D
