The Annual General Meeting of the Calis Carnival takes place on Wednesday 27 October 2010 at the Fethiye Belediye Council Chamber (above the new Migros supermarket - in Fethiye centre). If you or your friends are interested in the Carnival and its aims or would like to help with the 2011 charity events then you are warmly welcome.
The Calis Carnival and the fundraising social events held during the year are a unique example of how foreign and Turkish people can work together to bring about amazing things.
Not only has the Carnival and the other fundraising events raised thousands over the last three years for local good causes but it has also raised the profile of the Fethiye / Calis area both nationally and worldwide.
The Carnival has just completed its third year and the 2010 carnival and concert was the biggest and best yet!
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the chance to take stock, look ahead and plan for the future. So on 27 October 2010 at 2.00 pm the existing committee will meet at the Fethiye Belediye Council Chamber and everyone interested is welcome.
At the AGM all of the committee roles will be up for election including the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, sponsorship coordinators, events organisers, events helpers, carnival organisers and more.

Also on the agenda will be the plans for 2011 carnival, the various charitable events including the car boot sales and Christmas fair and the bids process for the allocation of the 2010 funds to deserving local children's projects.
