I turned the other way...from the Otogar right towards Fethiye...some decent furniture shops on the r/h side.
I must have looked in every furniture shop in Fethiye for a sofa & chairs I really liked & could live with....but got sorted in that area (sorry can't remember the name of the shop).

Many Thnaks, it is always easier when you know where you are heading instead of driving around aimlessly.

Be prepared for plenty of bling  8)

Hi Honeybee, yep finally finished. Hoping to be there this weekend to furniture shop. The hubby is already there and has been for the past couple of months, lucky him. Thanks for the advise. We will have to have a good look around.

We bought our sofas an a matching chair from the Furniture shop in the one way street with the banks.  It's just up from the entrance to Paspatur.  They had a big selection and three floors.  We picked our suite and delivery was offered within the hour. They also told us that they can order in different colours and designs of any suite you like.  We negotiated and got the price down, but we were very happy with it and it's really comfortable and much cheaper than a suite of this quality would be in the U.K.

Sorry a bit dumb, could you explain exactly where this is....I am terrible with street names?
Many Thanks

Cross the road from the smaller  Migros in Fethiye Town centre which is at the front of the marina. Walk to the right and take the first road on the left which is a one way road.  There are two entrances to Paspatur (The Old Town) on this road and some banks. Cross to the left had side of this one way street.   Pass the second entrance to Paspatur, which has a kebap shop on the left, keep walking and the  Furniture shop is just up the road, you cannot miss it, There are two large windows usually displaying sofas etc.,  ;)
Incidentally, we went back on our next visit and bought a dressing table with a large mirror, drawers either side and a matching stool (great for sitting at to do my hair etc):D
