If it were me, I don't think I could go to court and lie through my teeth in the hope of not getting caught out. I'd probably tell the truth and take the rap. But if I did - fabricate a complete web of lies - and got found out, once found guilty I'd hold my hands up and admit it. The very fact that he can't, and can't see that he did anything dishonest is quite frankly astonishing.
