Thursday's Charity Quiz - Change of Venue!

We had a phone call today from quizmaster Steve, to advise that the  Charity Quiz due to to take place at Cafe Soul on Thursday evening will now take place at Dennis the Menace restaurant instead!!!!!!

Same quiz, same quizmaster, same time, same entertainment but new venue!!!

Quizmaster Steve has kindly offered to do one of his popular quizes and a music night for Calis Childrens Charity. The evening starts at 7.00 and it  will be a general knowledge quiz. Teams are restricted to 4 people and the price will be 5TL per team which will go to our charity helping disadvantaged children in Calis and surrounding area. There will be a prize for the winning team and a "wooden" spoon for the losing team. There will also be a Reggae singer and further live entertainment and some Jamaican food on sale at a nominal price. CCC will also be providing a raffle on the night.

Just to remind everyone that Steve (who used to hold the popular Thursday afternoon quizzes at Cafe Soul) is holding a charity quiz night tonight at Dennis the Menace restaurant on Calis seafront.

As well as the quiz which will cost 5 TL per team of up to 4 people to enter, with Steve donating all the entry money to the 3C's childrens charity, there will be live entertainment.  Hope to see some of you there.  The evening starts at 7.00 pm. Nice one Steve, thanks

A big, big thanks to quizmaster Steve and to Chef Alicia for a great night out.  It was a really good quiz and the Jamaican food was great. Between them they raised 70TL for the children's charity and we also received a further donation of 10TL.  Thanks to everyone who supported the event on a cold and rainy evening .

For those who enjoy quizzes I understand that Steve's regular Thursday afternoon quiz will now be held at Dennis the Menace restaurant as from this week.
