Our UPVC window frames have been leaking quite badly where they are fitted into the rendered concrete house wall.
We have used that expanding foam spray to fill in the major gaps-just need to tidy it up from outside using some sort of sealant.
I was just wondering what other people have succesfully used, bearing in mind the high temperatures?
Silicon? (though this does seem to shrink away from the wall with the sun)
A mortar mix? If so what "mix" have you used?
Linseed Oil Putty? Not sure if that's really for wooden frames or is even available in Turkey?
Any other suggestions?

White frame sealant should be fine, that is what i used on our upvc windows.I have noticed many windows not sealed so it looks like turkish builders stop short of finishing the job.

The Yapi market sells all the appropriate mastic.

The Yapi market have a very good Silicon sealant, it is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -40/120C,check the back of the cartridge to get the correct one.

Do not use silicone, use either acrylic or polyurethane,more expensive but unlike silicone may be overpainted or built up in layers to achieve a deeper fill,and they stick like s**t to a blanket.

Yes agree with you George we were advised to use acrylic by Yapi market last year and it appears to have done the job.
Had no reported leaks from those who look after our apartment.

Does it have to be re-done every few years?
