After years of holidays and living in Turkey with no problems I spent half term out and about with grandchildren on my bike and got sunburn in England!
Tip for sunburn, mix a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water to ease pain. :)

It did not seem that sunny and as we were near water with a nice breeze it felt cool. I am well stocked with sun cream now though, lesson learned the hard way. My grandchildren were all fine but I have very fair skin.

Well seen you don't live in Scotland - you would be rusty the amount of rain we are having just now.

Roll on July we are over in Calis for 2 Weeks has the weather improved, see it was a bit mixed in May!!!

Don't know how scientifically t can be confirmed but when I was a kid, mum used to apply yogurt on sunburnt areas of our skin...at least takes the burn out for a while...also in severe cases Honey seems to work  :))
