Fethiye to Calis front
« on: May 21, 2011, 08:49:11 AM »
When over in June we plan to get dolmus from Calis to Fethiye but get off where the bars on the front start and have a walk along there to see the progress that has been made, i've read about it but not seen .
Can someone tell me where would be the best place to get off and cut through and which bar/restaurant to visit for food.
Regards
Patty

Just for advice Patty, ditch the dolmus and walk it if you are able. It's lovely and relaxing. That way, you'll get to see all of it.
:D

If you get the big 'blue' bus that goes on the hour from Calis to Fethiye, you can get off just after it turns on to the prom/harbour. (You can also catch it back from there)   There are a few restaurants right on the sea wall, we usually go to the Bogazci for lunch - great position, nice breeze, with a lovely view.   We just usually have the mezes.  As suggested before you can also walk in from Calis along the water you will then really appreciate and ejoy a nice glass of effes by the time you reach the restaurants along the front.
