Builders and the mess

Does any one know why the builders are not made to repair or clean up the mess they leave after they have finished a project by the Belediye .After all we paid a lot of money only a few years ago for the roads to be done.When they leave the roads are always dug up and never repaired apart from pushing some loose stones back in the hole.

Yep one of the downsides of Turkey I'm afraid.  The council or whoever develop new public asset very well, say a new road or a promenade. And then over a period of time a sad combination of the Turks indifference to what is publicly owned and lack of investment into maintaining an asset, leads to the steady decline in the quality of the new road or whatever.
