Denis Davey as not lived in Turkey for 18 months and his daughter Lisa as just returned to Turkey to have her Baby,so they do not perform anymore in Calis or anywhere else as Denis is retired in England now living in Plymouth,so sorry to say whoever thinks there still in Turkey are 100% mistaken.

I've been told this week that a singing guitarist called Gordon, who used to play at Mutlus in Koca Calis, now does some gigs on Calis Beach. Anyone know any details as to where, when etc?

Not sure - but there was a singer/guitarist at the Merhaba in June, on Saturday nights - he was very good and sang a lot of 60s songs and some country & western - he seemed very popular. Hopefully he is still there.

The group that are playing at Cafe Pazar tonight should hopefully be a permenant fixture for the summer, probably every fortnight.
