O.K. only the French Stuff can be called Champagne and I did not say it was a full bottle (full bottle of Champagne in a hamper for £29!!

that would be a bargain) but I can tell you our friend Betty in Glasgow who lost her husband of 50 years was delighted with the hamper last year, and as she does not drink a lot she used the bottle of what she called "Champagne" for some of her friends in the sheltered housing she lives in.[:X]
It's an easy way to send a nice gift (post free) anywhere in the U.K. particularly for someone living alone and the pleasure it gives far outweighs whether it's real champagne or not.

Incidentally, as someone in the know about postage, to send this lot, personally, first buy a strong box, then the packing materials, then pay the postage. Special Delivery £22.00 which is the only way to send anything breakable insured. So, not such a bad Christmas Gift without the hassle of sending it yourself.
