it all depends on taste. You can buy apple tea powder in Migros, Azda and in the markets. You can also get red apple teabags in Bim and other supermarkets.

Currently 3 for 2 at any Whittards or on line. Best we found in Fethiye and probably the cheapest at around 10TL a Kilo was on the market next to the guy who repairs pots and pans :)

The ingrediants of one of the most popular "Apple tea" in Turkey. Without any tea too!... No wonder it tastes so good!

Sugar, acidity regulator: citric acid (E330), antioxidant: ascorbic acid (E300), anti-caking agent: tricalcium phosphate (E341), natural identical apple flavour, colouring : caramel (E150)

tricalcium phosphate also known as "Bone Ash".

Make your own? Turkish black tea and apple essence, sugar to taste.

In the Turkish delight factory on the bottom road past hospital amongst all the other things they sell is proper apple tea no additives just chopped up red and green apples ,but the powder on is a lot nicer. ;)
