Dave

Recall the person that told you that today. Make a mental note for whenever they give you more "advice".

Never listen to a word they tell you, ever again. You have wasted your time talking to an idiot.

Sorted.

Try the heath and healthcare section below, where this has been done to death, post mortem, funeral, burial and afterlife.

It is a characteristic that seems unique to Calis & Fethiye. The people that know the least put the most effort into sharing it.

This is quite a good summary.
{A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}45798

As said above search for SGK or look in the heath and healthcare section and spend the whole weekend ploughing through it. In a nutshell if you have one year of residency you can join, if you don't you can't. It's 213TL for a married couple or 213TL each person for a non married couple.

They can also change the rules overnight which seems to be their favourite game, so keep an eye out for updates here and visit the UK Embassy website.

Happy reading.

To save me spending ages reading the numerous pages already on here, is the 213 lira a month per couple?  I haven't got residency anyway; I'm just interested for the future!   :)
