Tried Da Vinci at the weekend. They were only serving a limited menu as the kitchen wasn't fully operational. They served us complimentary cakes to taste which were superb and we ordered pizza. The pizza's (magherita 9 lira and vegetarian 10 lira) were authentic Italian, ie thin crust and were fabulous.
We met the owner (an Italian lady from Milan) and the manager Cristiano (from Florence) who are both very nice.
The ice cream machine arrives on 5th June and they will be ready to serve it a week or so later and I can't wait to taste all 28 flavours!!
Cristiano assures me that the steak will be fabulous as they have spent a long time finding a butcher that kills and cures the meat as they require it, so I will be comparing it to Bella Mama's fab steaks and let you know.
So far so good, had a really good afternoon there, will definitely go again.
