We bought a lot of stuff from Eren Spot when we thought we would rent out. Eren Spot is great for basic furniture. They are also good for white goods.
When we decided not to rent we gradually upgraded the furniture, bought a suite in a lovely Furniture shop in the one way street with all he banks, it's on the right hand side not far from the second Paspatur entrance.
Also we found a very good shop just passed the Sunday Market site on the opposite side to Eren Spot, just on the next block to the Pet Shop. It's on three floors and has bedroom, liviing room and dining room furniture. We got quite a few furniture items in here and we got a good deal once we had a haggle.
We also got a Carpenter to build us some fitted wardrobes with full length mirror, sliding doors and drawers, which I love. He made us some "L" shaped built in cupboards in the hallway at the top of the stairs which are really useful.
