Turkish Airlines Cabin Baggage Allowance

As anyone recently flew with Turkish Airlines and can tell me the Maximum Cabin Luggage weight as on line it say 8kg but the travel agents in Fethiye say 5kg.

We travelled back last week with 8Kg, but they didn't weigh it, and looking at the other passengers they had the kitchens and sink in their luggage!

I've never had my hand baggage weighed with TA - and as Loz says, it seems anything goes. I remember being at the bottom of the steps waiting to board the plane and seeing a girl really struggling with a bag for life sort of thing. Being a gentleman (and she was lovely ) I naturally offered to take the bag up the steps for her.

It was absolutely full of books, I'd estimate around 18-20 kgs, and I was nearly dead when we got to the plane, but of course I hid that

Never had mine weighed either so go for it!

Pegasus are the same 8 kilos, even though we flew through T.Cook with Pegagus and T.Cook said 5 kilos. No one checked our hand luggage, in fact, even over weight suitcases where not bothered about either.
